As we grow older, we may sometimes find ourselves spending more time alone. Increased time alone can influence us to assign negativity into our daily lives, causing depression and inactivity. Seniors are advised to socialize and participate in activities that are stress-free, fun and enjoyable.
There are many ways that we can build on our quality of life outside of the usual exercise and standard health advice according to the National Institute of Aging. The NIA has come up with a wonderful list of activities and organizations as recommendations for seniors to take part in that provide the earlier mentioned benefits to quality of life.
