In 2017, the American Cancer Society estimates that about 252,710 new cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed in women. As such, proactive actions are being taken and on October 28, 2017, Acorn employees will join the effort to help the American Cancer Society save lives from breast cancer by participating in the Annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.

The race is not a competition of physical strength, but rather an act of unity. Participants will stride about 3 miles to give hope and join fellow advocates in celebrating the brave survivors and remembering loved-ones lost.

If you are in the Orlando area and would like to participate in the walk, you may sign up with Acorn and join us at Lake Eola, by registering at AcornWalks.com.
