Commonly asked questions about Acorn Stair Lifts
How does it compare to the Summit / AmeriGlide or Access Stair Lift?
The Summit and AmeriGlide stair lifts are the same machine, simply sold under different names.
This lift and the Access stair lift (or to give it their full name ThyssenKrupp Access) are AC or mains electricity powered stair lifts.
The Acorn Stair Lift is a DC or battery powered stair lift. It may be helpful to make a direct, head-to-head comparison of these stair lifts with the Acorn Superglide 120 DC stair lift, because some manufacturers are making some very misleading claims about their own and competitors products.
