Register Your Acorn Stair Lift

IMPORTANT: Please complete the warranty registration for your stairlift within 30 days of receipt of the goods. Failure to do so will invalidate the warranty. This can be done either online, or by completing the registration card recieved with your stairlift.

The Acorn Superglide 120 stair lift is covered by a comprehensive warranty. If you experience any difficulty with your stairlift and you purchased the stair lift directly from ACORN Stairlifts, Inc., please telephone 888-563-0410 for technical support. If you purchased your stair lift from a dealer, please contact your dealer for assistance.

Limited Warranty
Acorn Stairlifts, Inc. (referred to as "we," "us" and "our") warrants to the first consumer purchaser (referred to as "you" and "your") that the motor and gearbox of your Acorn Stairlift are free of defects in material and workmanship for as long as you own this stairlift, and that all other parts of the stairlift are free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date you received the stairlift. If your Acorn Stairlift has a defect within the terms of this Warranty, we will repair, or at our option, replace the defective part. In order to obtain service under this Warranty, simply contact the dealer from whom you purchased the product, or, if you purchased your stairlift directly from Acorn Stairlifts, Inc., please call 888-563-0410. The warranty period for any repaired part or replacement part is limited to the unexpired portion of the original warranty period. Please retain all packaging material, for use in the event that the equipment needs to be returned to us.

Warranty Limitations
This Warranty does not cover damage incurred in or resulting from shipment or accident in transit unless the damage is reported to Acorn Stairlifts, Inc. by telephone (888-563-0410) within 24 hours of your receipt of the stairlift. This Warranty does not cover cosmetic damage or damage resulting from improper installation, misuse or abuse, alteration, unauthorized or non-factory repairs or modifications, fire, flood or acts of God, damage caused by factors such as power surge or fluctuations in or interruptions of electrical power, neglect, use of the stairlift outside of normal safety parameters, or maintenance contrary to, or failure to follow, the manufacturer’s printed instructions. Additionally, this Warranty does not cover stairlift batteries, remote control batteries, or torn or dirty upholstery. This Warranty also excludes service calls where no defect in the equipment is found.

This Warranty is LIMITED STRICTLY to the terms indicated herein and no other express warranties or remedies thereunder shall be binding on us. ALL WARRANTIES WHICH MAY BE IMPLIED UNDER STATE LAW, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND WARRANTIES OF FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY. IN NO EVENT SHALL ACORN STAIRLIFTS, INC. BE LIABLE FOR CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT OR SPECIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY OR ANY OTHER WARRANTY WHICH MAY BE IMPLIED BY LAW. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, and some states do not allow the exclusion of consequential, incidental, indirect or special damages, so the above limitation or exclusion thereof may not apply to you. This Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from state to state.

Warranty Registration Card
The Warranty Registration Card enclosed with this Warranty or accompanying the stairlift should be returned to Acorn Stairlifts, Inc. within thirty (30) days after you received the stairlift. Return of the Warranty Registration Card is not a condition to coverage or service under the Warranty, but is for the purposes of determining the original date you received the stairlift and the identity of the first consumer purchaser. Failure to return the card will not affect your rights under this Warranty so long as you can show in a reasonable manner the date of original installation and your status as the first consumer purchaser.
